Krishnamurti Centre Sydney
Krishnamurti Centre Sydney offers a friendly venue where like minded people can meet to learn about and inquire into Jiddu Krishnamurti’s teachings. Where we can socialise and venture into inquiring together, through listening, conversation and dialogue.
The K Centre Sydney is a place to find out, to question, to connect. There’s a wide range of publications there to browse and study, and you are to also able watch Krishnamurti’s talks streamed or on DVD.
The Sydney Centre has been operational for nearly 12 years. Many have availed themselves of the connection to others similarly questioning and as well the resources available. We have a core of about six people able to respond to information requests and to drop by at the Centre to meet up.

In 1970 Krishnamurti visited Australia, a crowd of 3,000 members of the public packed into Sydney Town Hall, keen to hear his words of wisdom.
A key message Krishnamurti addressed over many decades was to question authority. The message was reinforced, psychologically speaking, don’t give authority to another, especially in the religious and spiritual realms but also your everyday teacher in the classroom, the teacher too was to examine themself in action. Not to accept what others tell you. In fact in most of the talks Krishnamurti gave around the world for over sixty years the message was find out for yourself.
It’s not a comfortable message, to think for yourself, to find out.
